I LOVE BAR XS. THE MUSIC IS GOOD. THE BEER IS CHEAP AND THE PEOPLE ARE GREAT. I TRAVEL FROM LONDON JUST TO DRINK THERE. I LOVE MANCHESTER.

Large bar that screens football matches on its many televisions and one large screen. Often not too lively, but has a Thai restaurant attached and two very good football tables.

Not sure how old these other messages are but it's been done up for about a year now, has the best selection of beers on tap in Fallowfield and ample seating and student-friendly prices make it an unpretentious warm-up alternative to Sofa and Revolution.
