I guess I have been going to the Beech on Beech Road, Chorlton at least once a week for around two years and on on off for around 30 years. I have always found the company, the staff and the range and quality of beers to be excellent.
My favourite is Taylors Landlord, although their Best Bitter runs very close. I have also enjoyed a number of beers from the Dunham Massey Brewery.
The Beech is the last of it's kind certainly in Chorlton. Small friendly, comfortable with the accent on providing good beer.
Just before Christmas the Beech was completely redecorated with new floors and upholstery. It has been carried out with sensitivity and it looks great.
I would ask anybody who ever visited the Beech to go again and enjoy excellent beer in an exceptional pub.

Great friendly pub with good beer, - the Taylor's Landlord is excellent. Never going to be a party venue, but it does what it says on the tin. It's a good place to go for a natter with some mates. Live folk music on Mondays means pressure on seats...

a small pub that serves a good range of beers. It has resisted modernisation over the years and is all the better for it. A large beer garden to the rear fills with off-road pushchairs in the summer. The `Monday Club` meets every weekday afternoon and is a friendly mix of the retired, unemployed, those who didn`t quite make it to work on the day and those who got `rained-off` in 1973 and are still waiting for a break in the weather. good quiz night on Thursdays.
