Dukes 92
Our Dukes 92 Review
Is it a pub? Is it a coffee lounge? Actually it's both. When two worlds collide into one you get both big, comfy sofas and scratched, wooden benches. Dukes is balanced on the Rochdale Canal, overlooking Lock 92, hence it's name. The grand front beer patio means it's made for long, itchy summer afternoons. A friend tells me they do bargain breakfasts with fantastic cheese platters on Sunday mornings. What are you waiting for?

really busy really bad service takes over half hour to get 1 drink with the staff not having a clue. Go to Slug and Lettuce in Spinningfields for a drink by the river in the sun with excellent service

I really like this bar. Top location and superb for summer drinking. Does get quite busy at the weekend but you can always nip across the road to Barca if it's get too bad - one of my fave bars in town and will be for a long time.

Agreed with Angel, really nice place to go day time drinking. The seating area upstairs is also great for sitting with friends before you head to the clubs.

Consistently good - few pretensions, just a good honest boozer with a real modern angle.
