Students combining study and socialising? Well not by the looks of this place, which is busy with students and locals intent on getting rat-arsed. Maybe the idea is to revise your position in academia with 10 pints of Headmasher ale, maybe. The food available during the day includes a decent full breakfast for under a fiver.

This bar is like a second home to me!After a busy day at work i like nowt better than settling into a sofa by the window and watching the world go by........................I love you all, especially brigitte.

I used to go here often, now rarely thanks to the appearance of out-of-town scallies who completely ruin the relaxed feel of the place. Shame - the music and decor is very good, and the beer and food is not bad either.

this bar is great. it is one of the very few bars in manchester that have djs playing. on weekends you have two great DJs G-Man and Moggey Hues playing funk and hip hop. if you want to come out for a good night at weekends without having to go to town, this is the place. the beer is not bad either.

Wednesday night is the best night. You can sit back and relax with Rob who runs the bands night and watch excellent bands like Sing The Body Electric or The Fremmen.
