Our Mojo Review
If you haven't heard about this bar yet, where have you been hiding? A relative newcomer to Manchester's bar scene Mojo has been making a lot of noise of late and on a recent visit we could understand what all the fuss was about. Situated just off Deansgate, its discreet location manages to keep the idiots out, whilst once inside it comes to life in extraordinary fashion. Based around a concept exported from Barbados to Leeds and now to Manchester, it's very rock and roll and plays the sort of tunes you won't hear certainly around this part of town.
Mojo seems to attract a more grown up audience but don't let that mislead you into thinking the party doesn't get lively as by the end of the night everyone unleashes the rockstar in them at this riotous venue.

This is a great little place but anyone who thinks it is unique in Manchester needs to explore away from the clique places a little more, this is something manchester has been doing for years with south, the original venue, fab cafe and to a lesser extent 42's as well.

Nice bar but ridiculously expensive. Who on earth can afford to or would even want to) pay ?3.00 for a bottle of beer? Great music and lovely bar staff, shame about the rip-off prices.

Highlight of my trip to Manchester, visited the bar in Leeds also. Great bar, great music, hot guys, hotter staff. Class A....

As far as i know there is no other Bar in Manchester that plays this kind of music. Classic Rock and some Indie from 50's to present day. The Bar prices are expensive but the beer is fab, and the bar staff are some of the most efficent i've ever seen. Just wish that this bar was more of a secret, it was a bit too full on Saturday night (23/09/06). Free to get in and open till very late. Great bar hope more bars copy the idea!
