Moon under Water

Our Moon under Water Review

OK its just a bog standard pub, why would you want to go ? Well firstly its Europe's Largest, and secondly..well..the foods not that bad. If you want class, style and you like to burn money then don't come here..this place is down to earth, cheap and wickedly homely. Yeah its full of scallies, but sometimes you can get sick of being with the "in" crowd.

Good honest pub with decent, varied menu and loads of offers on drinks. All in all pretty good, especially if you're in a large group as you can always find a space to stand in. Few too many scallies for my liking but they are generally the friendly sort not the kick your head in sort.

who can complain?? dirt cheap and near enough to other bars. If a bunch of gays can go in and not get any attitude from the scallies then its good enough in my book. Anyway, scallies have the best arses , everyone knows that.

The problem with this pub is that although they allow families, they don't let kids in on match days. Strange for a pub with no TV and strict rules on customers wearing kits. If you don't know it's a match day and you have arranged to meet with kids, be warned that you will not be allowed in. Time this was changed methinks!

Me and my girl go this place too on a friday afternoon AND on a sat nite before heading to Loaf or Baa bar...WHAT A COINCIDENCE! I have minor complaint..the flunky dude with the aftershave n paper towels sure gets irritating after your 2nd visit to the loo.

The best place in manchester to start your night out! Food is ok. Drinks are cheap cheap cheap! The lack of music means you can get all of the catch-up chats out of the way before the partying begins! I love it! (Sit upstairs though, as the pensioners tend to prop up the downstairs bar & the draught from the main enterence will give you goose pimples!!! Ideal central location too!!! A win-win starting point!!! 5/5

The bouncers & bar staff are friendly, especially the bloke with the little pony tail, hes a legend! :0P The only thing I would say is now they have music in here why not dim the lights a bit & build a dance floor!!!
