Our Mr Thomas s Chop House Review

Situated on Cross Street, Mr.Thomas' Chop House is certainly worth a visit, if just for it's interior that's tiled from floor to ceiling, a style unchanged in 150 years. This is how city centre pubs should be, cozy with a great atmosphere and superb food - a lunchtime sandwhich is very recommended. Next time you're in town pop in and some food, you won't be disappointed. They now serve food in the evening too!

Great food, nice pub, awful service. Manager reminiscent of Basil Fawlty - obnoxious, and ask around you'll find others who say the same.

Tommy's chop house is the best pub in Europe. It is like stepping back in history, i always envisage 1920's style businessman with top hats and tailcoats. Pure genius- please go

I love this place it is not afraid to be its own bar despite the closeness peole are polite and I have never had any real trouble with seating, also unlike most of the trendy pseudo-european bars this is a genuine british pub
