i think this is one of the best pubs in manchster, as my father is the landlord , over all i think it has a grate vibe about it and the staff are brilliant , the food is fantastic and the weekends are the best but it is a grate bar for a quite after work drink , keep it up daddy X

quite pleasant surroundings except for the damp protruding from the roof and destroying the wallpaper, staff quite pleasant except for 1 lady called Carole who was very ignorant and insulting, very quiet at night and very very busy at lunchtime - too busy to get a seat and food took too long to arrive - altogether does not really match other bars at comparable prices in the area. if you're Irish and want a real Irish experience go to O'Sheas in Whitworth Street for a good nights craic.

This is an Irish bar where the beer is good and service is excellent. There is always a good vibe in the place, and on sundays there is live music supplied by some of the best musicians in the world. For a city centre bar the prices are very reasonable. For me this is the best Irish bar in Manchester and is well worth a visit

If it's good enough for Keano, then it's good enough for me! Great little boozer, unlike O'Shea's. The only good O'Shea's in Manchester are John and his family!

I used to work here years ago and it was a cracking place to work and drink/eat. Very busy at lunch times and weekend nights. Nice busy crowd Tuesday / Sunday night for the music. All round good pub
