Derby. What a terrible exsperaince i had. I went in there for a sald, and discustingley found a SLUG in my food, now that is taking the name to far. When i then asked for a discount i was told they could offer me15% of. How discusting is that, i offerd to oay half and the manager would not come and see me and left some poor young girl to deal with me. I was discusted but i just paid as i could hardley have a go at a young girl.
I will not ever go back to such a discraseful place.

Quitr a good bar although the customers were slightly unfriendly I was there with my boyfriend and got called 'Faggot' after being there less than 10 mins. For gods sake wake up people its down canal street you should expect to see some Homos there from time to time. On the plus side though it was full of fit manc lads who im sure I could of pursuaded to stray away from there girlfriends for the night.

Very very funky and laid back. Lots and lots of trendy music types with record label execs. If you don't work in the Music, Video or fashion industry you'll feel good anyway. One of the coolest straight venues in Manchester

Nice food, when you can get it!! We often go to the slug for lunch as we work just round the corner, but find we don't get treated quite as good as the customers who wear suits!!! If we didn't have a casual clothed workplace we could probably get served quicker and with more courtesy!

A nice, clean, civilised bar, with a trendy and cosmopolitan ambiance. A great bar for most occassions, nice for a bite @ lunch, a drink after work, or a place to meet with friends and start off the evening. Good selection of drinks, and usually good music played. No complaints really!
