Retro Bar
Our Retro Bar Review
If you like it cheap then this is the place to be. Not to disrespect this 'quaint' little bar, but it isn't exactly deansgate locks, however this is all reflected in the price.
Cheap pints and even cheaper shots mean that it?s a great, and inexpensive, way to start off your night, with nice comfy seating and a large TV that usually shows MTV or The Box. The toilets are tiny, but theres a cash machine next door and its only 5 minutes walk from the Gay Village. Cheap and a tiny bit Nasty, but we still love it!.

Had a sunday dinner today 10th feb got to hand it to them, it was the best dinner i have had for a long time and its not often i say that it cost ?3.25 for the dinner of i could have been a real pig and went the whole hog and had the 3 course (soup, dinner and pud) for ?4.95 but believe me when i tell you you will not get through it all, give it a try you won't be sorry

I like this place, the bar is small, but it is cosy, and an excelent place to get tanked up before venturing into the gay village

This is my fith time to Manchester and I never go home before I have visited Retro Bar. It is an excelent place to start an nigth out.
As many before points out, theis is arealy nice and cheap bar. I often come and enjoy a fresh cold beer and listen to Middle-age HipHop, excelent place.

Definitely worth a visit for something different. Lots of unsigned bands and alternative music. So far only been to Violet and Voodoo Lounge but going to check out electro night To Amy With Love next. The drinks are cheap and there is usually a really friendly and energetic vibe to the club nights.

The Retro Bar was my favourite while I stayed in Manchester for two weeks (I live in Germany). Friendly staff and a nice pint of beer. The English breakfast was great!

Fantastico! Best pub in the city by a mile. Check out the clubnights, always drunken and slightly debauched. Suits you.
