Sand Bar
Our Sand Bar Review
Situated just along from the avoid-if-at-all-possible temple of student drinking, The Footage and Firkin, the Sand Bar is one of Manchester's worst kept secrets. A great selection of fine ales, wines and lagers, together with well priced snack meals and one of the best jukeboxes in the city make it it a haunt of in-the-know students, lecturers and workers from all around. Deservedly packed at the weekends but also worth a visit in the week.

I'm the new manager and we don't have the proper glasses because they keep disappearing! We will try and use them again sometime in the future.

I sometimes go there after uni and have been for the past year or so. I like the good selection of lager and ale they have on draught.T oo many known faces which i always need to avoid-like the tutors!!
started to get a bit more cliquey now-too many young w*nkers messing around.

This bar is just a postgrad student union and what is the point of selling Belgian beer if you don't know how to serve it? The management should spend some of their profits on training their staff. Heathens.
