The Bar Review:

The leader of the pack in Chorlton, The Bar has been there long enough to know exactly how to do things. It is no surprise that this place is crowded on a Tuesday afternoon. A food menu that towers over most resturants in the area and an amzing selection of conteinental wines and beers, together with the offerings of the local Marble Brewery make the Bar a good enough reason to go to Chorlton and quite possibly to move there aswell.

I strongly agree the bar is one if its kind. The bar staff are exceptionally stunning especially the Irish lass Hellen. Very hospitable all round. 5 out of 5.

Fantastic bar with great food and a mad selection of beers. Erdinger, chimay, duvel... Plus the Fittest Bar Maid In The World works there. You know who you are!

Fantastic original food, cool, chilled and sophisticated atmosphere. perfect for drinking as they have a wide range of beers with some home brews delivered by funky staff, that give a definate sense of trust to their custom that i find relaxing and homely without having an in-your-face american style. also the range of music is superb, from sinatra to beetles and bob marly, givin a retro tinge. definate thumbs up all round.

The food is fantastic, the range of beers is excellent (and they don't sell pints of chemicals), the atmosphere is perfect, and the staff are very friendly. I had a party for my 25th here, and as there were a lot of people for such a small bar Emma laid on a buffet for us which was excellent. She threw in a couple of freebies for me to take home as well. The whole place feels like your local in the country. But its not. Its in Chorlton.
