Our The Royal Oak Review

The Royal Oak is not for the faint-hearted! It's the home of red-faced men of liquor who religiously take it in turn to support the bar. Very much a local pub for local people it's worth remembering that phrases like 'aren't the locals a bit funny looking,' or 'this is a bit of a sh*thole,' will go down like a lead balloon. You can have a good bit of craic with most of the punters in here and they have a function room upstairs with some very off-the-wall nights.

Used to have a bad name but now thanks to new management a year ago the place is safer and much nicer with good value meals and entertainment at the weekends.
