The Trafford Tavern
Our The Trafford Tavern Review
Bosses at the Trafford Centre, a sprawling up-market shopping centre, clearly realised that the male population hate the Saturday trips out, so their introduction of a traditional style pub was a welsome one. Whilst clearly made out of something only slightly stronger than cardboard, after a few beers this will actually look like a real 'local boozer', if it wasn?t for the high bar prices. Space isn't at a premium - they clearly don't expect many men to break free from their families - but its never particularly full. Food is also served.

On Tuesday 3rd Nov 2009 I visited the Trafford Tavern in the Trafford Centre for a chat about the 'good old days' with some of my working & retired work colleagues. We have been doing this for the past 8 years & when there is more than 5 of us then we drag two tables together, only this time we were stopped from doing this because of 'elf & safety rules (or so a waitress explained for fear of evacuating the Tavern). We were regulated to the upper floor, which was OK on this occasion but other times some of us have walking sticks, wheel chairs or even have Grand-children with us which will be no good then. I would like to know what 'elf & safety rules have been changed this year because we have been visiting this bar for the past 8 years.

The food is revolting and the service is worse. I complained about the food and got thrown out. Serious stress heads. Do not bother
