The Woodstock
Our The Woodstock Review
Now boasting two floors and thus the space to accommodate it's popularity, The Woodstock is the venue to go for in West Didsbury. Some may not go for the menu, ranging from shark to kangaroo, but there's plenty more conventional food on offer aswell. Like so many place out in the 'burbs the Woodstock is a very popular pub in the summer, with even a boules pit if one fancies a game. The only downside is the pricing, you won't be getting much change from 30 quid if you're unlucky enough to be buying the rounds in here. However, you've got to pay for quality so it's only a minor grumble.

A slight whiff of hooray henry&etta; about the place, the quiz night £30 prize( a tab redeemable at the bar only) was easily financed by the £1 per head p.p fee.The Bar-prices are way out of order!

this pub has such great potential, the food is great and the beers are fantastic, the only problem is the stuck up customers who are very rude. if you can ignore them, the place is great with quality music too.

Decent enough pub but it's expensive and the wait for food and drink is ridiculous. I've been quite a few times and the wait on food has been anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours! Drinks take ages too. Only use this if you fancy a change from the Met down the road!

Was better when it was run by Bass. Why have the breweries sold up anyway? Less snobby than the Met, though.
