TriBeCa - BED Review:

Manchester’s ultimate lounge bar, with low couches, and even beds! Tribeca and Bed is a chic vibrant city centre bar in the heart of Manchester, with a distinct and sophisticated New York air. The bar offers a relaxed atmosphere by day and a buzzy vibrant scene at night. TRIBECA is home to “Night Fever” on Tuesday, Live Music Wednesdays, and “Saints And Sinners” on a Thursday with half price cocktail pitchers and a free Chocolate Fountain. The BED basement club hosts “Back To the 80’s “ on a Thursday, “Kinky Disco Club” on a Friday and “Breathe” on a Saturday night. “Karaoke in Bed” stars on a Sunday night. Food is served daily until 9pm and the Red and Purple lounges along with Bed are available for sophisticated private parties.You must sample their range of cocktail pitchers, including the legendary 'central perk' on a Friday or Saturday night, when all pitchers are on special offer. To just lounge or be that little bit more intimate, Tribeca and Bed are definitely somewhere to start and end your evening.

Quality place that serves the liquid gold that is Peroni on draught. Apart from that, the cocktails were decent and well priced and the music gave the place a buzzing atmosphere. I will definately be coming back to check out one of the 'nights' they put on, if not simply for the comfort of the seating.

hey as a regular of tribeca i absolutely love the bar, great place to hangout day and night. however what has happened to the guy with the silver cross who works there?! we are all wondering where he has got to as we think he is perhaps one of the nicest barmen around! We miss him loads, get him back in tribeca where he belongs... we love the bar and the silver crossed barman!

Tribeca is fabulous. The perfect place to start your night, even if you're going somewhere other than Canal Street. The Cosmo's are the best in Manchester, and one or two of the bar staff aren't too bad either!

I've only ever been here once & left my bag downstairs unknowingly when I turned around to see one of the bouncers on the stairs holding my bag up asking whos it was, that was the first I'd known that I'd lost it! this was some time in 04, a while back now, but the bouncer looked a little bit like Craig David, so if hes still there give the man a bonus! After reading the posts on here I wanted to know when is a bottle of wine ?5 here, is that all the time or certain times in the week?

An amazing night out-if I lived in manc this place would be my home from home,I'd say the memories were great-but after turtle creek its hard to remember,lol..its hard to get a mix of great decor/lovely friendly people without getting pretencious like some bars around. Straight,bi or gay, YOU'LL LOVE IT!

great at the begining of the night, but a bit hard to find somewhere confortable to sit or stand when busy and the food isent that great. the staff are helpfull although the service is slow, but then you get what you pay for, Needs updating as its had the same decor since it opened. Sorry it is easy to pick and no offence, I do like comming into the bar, the cocktails are great and the village wouldent be the same without it....

First time in Tribeca and have to say a pretty good time was had (oops, too many cocktails)! Doormen were suprisingly cool and barstaff were brilliant especially the dark haired cutey who served me (told me he was 19, too young dammit)!

we decided to take some mates with us to try the gorgeous cocktails and we ventured down to bed... which was cool. and there is an amazingly good lookin man who works there think he was wearing a cross round his neck, shame he's camp as xmas tho - you lucky men!

Fantastic Cocktails!!! Highly recommend the strawberry daquiri (sorry cant spell!) We went with 2 male friends to start off the night and it was so nice! it was like heaven in a glass! Will be visiting again! yet to venture to BED tho...

Fantastic bar! Great atmosphere & a great place to spend the day chilling or the nights partying.What really makes this venue is the barstaff.They are all beautiful in their own funky way.I've noticed that the regular bar staff also work very hard,& who is the guy with the silver cross?! He is amazing!A great barman & extremely good looking... go to TriBeCa!!!

Top bar, freindly staff, nice food. Feels right at home and relaxed whenever I'm there. Even managed to catch Elliot Eastwick down there a couple of months ago on the sunday night which was a nice surprise. I'd definately recommend it for a chilled night/day out.

Great bar! A very chilled out and cool place to go; the sort of place you can wear you slippers in!! The girls behind the bar are all very sexy and long may it remain that way. I want the thank all the staff for not pulling their faces too much when I order Strawberry Daquiri.

Excellent bar. Love the decor and the chilled vibe. Has a good mix of Gay and Straight but is ultimately Trendy and Relaxed at the same time. All the staff are friendly.The wine is becoming somewhat notorious because after 2 bottles it really is difficult to remember anything else!

Tribeca: is always a safe bet and one of my - if not my ultimate preferred choice in bars. You can guarantee that whatever occasion you're there for and whoever you're there with it will be a good and easy time. I don't make a habit out of sleeping with someone on a first date... but hey, what better place to take them than to BED! for a bit of fun and cheek. Start as you mean to go on..... ;-) I love them both. Definately rate them.

Fantastic......hopefully a sign of things to come in Manchester. This has the quality of service and product one associates with so-called "poncier" bars in town but with the atmosphere of a much more laid back kind of joint. I would say Kro Bar, Knott Fringe and a couple of other places fall into the same category. TriBeca is sheer quality without the attitude. Would do well in London (agree with above remark about the smoke though!)

This is by far the funkiest place in Manchester. Think Deansgate Locks but without the crappy punters. Mon- free quiz night. tue- the amzingly addictive karaoke. thurs- 80s night yeay! And in the cool surroundings of Bed. (Can U get more stylish). The weekends rock, esp. Bed on a Friday evening. If you wanna impress your mates, book your b/day party in Bed, and do it in style....

Excellent bar. Best I have seen in Manchester by far. Plenty of style but a good attitude with it. Highly professional staff and well-priced. A lot better than similarly high-profile places in Manchester such as Sugar Lounge which is a sure pretender now even if it was something yesteryear.

Fantastic atmosphere in this bar, people. Great, attentive bar staff - 'sepecially the blond haired girl working on Thursdays (?). Loved the relaxed layout and very comfortable seating - after a few in here, it begins to feel like your own living room. Doorstaff were a bit iffy, but overall very satisfied.
