as someone who has lived in Manchester for 15 years now and regularly visited Manchester's better known and cooler dance music clubs like The Electric Chair, Mr Scruff, Friends & Family etc and has even checked out today's latest fad's inc Warehouse Project and various outdoor events.... I have now gained a fresh perspective on what makes a magical party having been to this super underground secretive night called Community at Contact Theatre on Oxford Road...saw Greg Wilson and also London DJ Phil Asher there, both times pleasantly surprised by the uniquely natural atmosphere of purely dancing to music. The crowd is an older clubbing crowd, very mixed and extremely friendly. sound system is fantastic. drinks are much cheaper compared to everywhere else on a Saturday night. doormen and staff all very friendly too. Highly recommended to those who want something slightly alternative to whats already out there.
