Our Contort Yourself Review:

One of the few real nightclub experiences open to the crowds of Manchester's bustling Northern Quarter, every third Saturday of the month Contort Yourself delivers a meaty hit of dirty-disco, punk-funk, new wave and electro-clash along with championing some of the hottest underground live acts on the planet.
Seemingly everybody's Pick Of The Week and having recently hosted two of rock's coolest, sexiest and most charismatic bands (Gossip and CSS) perform together for the first time, this club night has gone from strength-to-strength exceeding many peoples expectations; resident DJs Ric Davies, The Human Man and Gezmagus included.

Contort Yourself is well worth the wait of a 3rd Saturday every month. The music is legendary, the atmousphere electric, the people chilled and up for a laugh in equal measures. I have been to the roadhouse countless times, but contort yourself is always a special night. Im buzzing just thinking about the one coming up, bring on Drums of Death!

Best night in Manchester for the past 6 months FACT. Best line ups, up for it crowd, good atmosphere, slick. Jack Beats was immense, but am waiting for Drums of Death to play again after his manic debut after 'Becks Fusion' last year.
