Bugged Out! are back for another riotous Sankeys instalment of aural mayhem, fresh from their seminal year last year in which an incredible 15th anniversary milestone was reached and breached in spectacular circumstances, with The Chemical Brothers on show. This time it’s a fantastic Feb offering, with two stars of the scene gracing the famed Sankeys decks – Fake Blood and Joker.
Fake Blood is the latest alter ego for Theo Keating, following on from stints in the Wiseguys and Black Ghosts, and famously as DJ Touché. His original productions included two major club hits, “Mars” and “Blood Splashing (Fake Blood Theme)”. In 2009, He released the “Fix Your Accent” EP, including the original tracks “The Dozens”, “I Think I Like It”, and “Fix Your Accent”.
Joker is an immensely precocious talent, he burst onto the Dubstep and Grime scenes in 2008 with the vibrant ‘Grimey Princess’ and ‘Gully Brook Lane’ which were released on Earwax and Plastician’s Terrorhythm imprint respectively. His productions possess a rare duality of intense and nonchalant energy, the soundtrack to a pimp on an interstellar journey.
