15 events and 15 changes to the club

Sankeys have announced 15 weeks of events and 15 changes to the club to celebrate the 15 years since they first opened as Sankeys Soap. Few clubs survive for as long, and even fewer continue to evolve in any meaningful way. There are some venues in Manchester that are stuck in a timewarp, in terms of their decor, lights, soundsystem and the way they are operated. It makes you think, where do their profits go? A shiny new motor for the director? Are those clubs even aware of an outside world where state of the art clubs exist in various exciting cities? Sankeys believes in reinvesting and keeping the pace.

The club has told us that they plan to "face the coming years as an even more vibrant and confident establishment." The changes that they are planning are as follows:

2. Beach Club.
3. Cinema.
4. DJ Boxes.
5. Ice Cannons.
6. LED Bar Ceiling.
7. LED Basement Matrix.
8. LED Bubbles Lighting System.
9. LED Poles.
10. LED Video Wall.
11. Multi Coloured Lasers.
12. Sound System.
13. Spektrum.
14. Terrace.
15. Toilets.

Some of the changes are more necessary than others and some more welcome than others, but it certainly proves that the club listens to its customers and wants to improve facilities in order to maintain a world-class reputation.

The 15 weeks of events are not all fully confirmed (you'll notice that some of the weekend dates are missing) but this is what we have so far and it'll be updated in time:
