Twisted Elegance have announced that despite new residencies in Bolton and Belfast, the hunt for a new home in Manchester continues.
The club suffered two blows at the end of last year. Twisted co-founder Alan made the shock decision to move on from the company, shortly followed by the news that Ampersand was to be repossessed. The venue reopened quickly under new management but the move signalled the end of all residencies at the venue. Twisted Elegance were forced to cancel their New Year's Eve party in Manchester as they could not find a venue to meet their standards in the short time available.
Over the last two months, the team have decided to break away from the weekly format that brought them such success at Ampersand to concentrate on monthly residencies and club tours. They have just announced news of new residencies at Bolton's Smooth venue and in Belfast, and are currently in talks with venues and promoters in the area about some very special events they hope to put on soon, including a one-off party at Sankeys in March.
So while the club does not have a home in Manchester yet, we are confident that this is not the last we will hear of Twisted Elegance.
