Went in there 02/04/2005 Best pre-club bar..Ive been in manchester..The vibe is proper trendy and all amazing women who give the "I'M AVAILABLE LOOK ABOUT THEM" If you like a little boogie to house/dance on a saturday night before you move on then 9.30-11pm shouldnt be spent anywhere else. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

The bouncer at the door no. 4446 is rude stupid and is a shame for the place. He needs to go! The rest OK. Bouncer is rude with the wrong attitude.

I think the venue is gorgeous...the music on sat night was classic house. Always a winner! The crowd were generally really nice....only a couple of idiots to write home about! One girl repeatedly badgered the classic house Dj for Girls Aloud (erm hello!) and then proceeded to slag off his tunes to me, obviousley not realising that I was actually his girlfriend! I found the doorstaff very helpful in escorting her from the club! Ha ha.

This is by far the best bar on the locks its the only place without an attitude problem!i'll have to disgree with kirk,the bouncers are friendly and welcoming!If you want a really good night out come on a wednesday for the r&b/hip hop-plus there are lots of fit men:-)!

Good stuff.. Cool place to go as a stop off place or just to stay all night. Bar service can be a bit rubbish if its busy but what can u expect? Cool music and a general good place (better than LOAF)

Forget the weekend, Wednesdays is where it's at, at Revolution. they were the first to host a decent, trouble free, R'n'B and hip-hop night in Manchester and it's the best there is with its smart and sexy crowd. if you're anyone - you're there!

Though this bar is usually OK for a stop-off, the bouncers are the most arrogant in Manchester who randomly turn you away. Me and my group were told "You're not getting in", without reason. I was dressed smartly and didn't even get asked for ID. Don't go here and support the type of company that employ such filth.

Well, a good bar with plenty of good beers to choose from, however I think I will avoid at the weekends if possible, far too crowded and I only feel relaxed if I get to sit on the sofas.

Been to most bars in london but nothing compares! Whodve thought an innocent visit to the uni would turn out to be one of the best nights out weve had in a while! :) Cocktails were fantastic but the bar staff were 'top draw!' especially neil, tell him we're coming back, kate and tina xx
